Someone on here was looking for alloy sill covers, problem is I can't remember who. There's a pair of NOS for sale on ebay right now but haven't been listed as 'Rapier'.

Starting at £8 +P&P could be a bargain for someone who needs a pair.

Good Spot Tim, only the n/s by the looks of it, but certainly useful to someone - they are quite rare as NOS! Cheers. G

Hi,

Aren't these stainless?

I got all exited then, I'm after a set of alloy plates that cover the sills - actually the kick plates you see when you open the door:

I'll keep looking...

Is nothing like the interior sill tread plates on mine. If you look at the guy's hand holding the LHS edge you can tell how thick and how wide it is.

Yes, brushed ali one, rather than early stainless, which was used up to mid-'69. When Rootes probably thought they were too expensive in s/s. :-) G.
