It wasn’t always snowing!, here’s a picture of Jessica refuelling at a very famous garage in the summer, most UK members will recognise where, well its not really a garage and come to think of it, it was summer 2008!

Best Regards

Hi Martin, ha-ha very clever, were you visiting the railway?,of course you are right, it is a beautiful part of the country but you wouldn't want to be there now unless your taking photo's for xmas cards!

Yeah ive heard that winters properly set in up there. Weve had a touch of it down here and its funny that the warnings, etc seem to have been country wide so everyone down here has been freeking out, when theres less that an inch of snow. Crazy really.

I used to watch Heartbeat a lot and have half of my family in Yorkshire so have made the trip twice, whilst up there.
I feel a little silly though as i dont recall a railway at all - oops.

Cheers

Hi, The railway (NYMR) is about 200 yds past the garage, Goathland satation ( or Aidensfield or Hogwarths ) is on the line between Pickering and Gromont ( Ashfordly ) and its a very popular place to visit with some wonderful steam locomotives if you like that sort of thing.

I seem to recall that the SeriesIII,KHG 474,restored by the Practical Classics team in the early 80s appeared in at least one episode of Heartbeat.I wonder if the car is still around?

Well Niamh Cusak who played Dr Kate Rowan traded her Triumph Herald for a Series 3 but it featured in several programs’ and I’m afraid I don’t know the reg number , but I would imagine it’s still around, (gosh I never knew I was that sad!)
Best Regards
