As well as being a member of the SROC I am also a Friend and Volunteer at the Rootes Archive Centre in Banbury. RACT has held a series of Open Days in 2016 and yesterday was the turn for Commer. Despite a freezing cold morning and forecast of heavy rain for the afternoon 8 Commer vehicles were brought by their owners along with another 4 Rootes cars.
We could arrange a similar Open Day for the Sunbeam Rapier next year, so I thought I would ask if any members would be interested in bringing their Rapiers to Banbury?
Here are a couple of photos of the Rapiers little brothers and much larger Rootes cousins!
I thought I should add a couple more photos of the larger Rootes vehicles!
