If it was closer and the price was right I'd re-shell it using the Grim body.

If you look at this week's Classic Car Weekly, there is a pic of an orange H120 rather like this one that went through a classic car auction on 27th November for £1200.

Looks like it's 'game over' for this one then. Shame that.

Strange that he values the engine and gearbox at £1500!

Back again, I thought this was sold at auction?? The seller must be getting fed up with taking the engine out and putting back in....

It's reappeared on ebay at £1475 start price (and probably sale price if only 1 bidder), which is I guess a bit more reasonable considering the spec, but still seemingly a lot for something that needs everything doing.

Was slightly tempted but don't want to take on a project of that size, and I'd think it'd be more suited to someone who already has a load of parts (like a spare bodyshell )

I've seen from the above posts that it probably isn't too good but has anyone seen it recently?

I've commented before on this one, the engine bay looks OK; for me it is the interior that lets it down and of course that rust doesn't look too much, but when you get into it I think there will be a lot of rot there: just too much money. G

If it wasn't for the project car I'd reshell it myself with the one I have here but I really can't take on another project, least ways till I've finished this one. Also it's not exactly in my neck of the woods either.

Be a shame to see it broken cos they're getting scarce now. I probably have everything it needs right here to complete it, just don't have the time or space.

If anybody on here fancies a poke at it give me a shout cos I'm willing to work with them to make it happen if it's possible.

I think its a bargain at that money and would make a really nice car once its done ive seen alot worse. It cant be that bad as it still has steel wings and there usually first thing to go. Looks a bit on the one corner but if i were looking for one i would be all over this

Tim,

Do you have any rear strut top mounts that Jon could use as patterns to help Thomas out??
