I don't think there was a specific place; depends on type of mirror too. Personally if you're only using Rapier on 'high-days' and holidays, I'd avoid drilling into the very rare wings; especially if they are in good shape. I just relied on the interior mirror and a door mirror which was on the car when I bought it, but I agree in todays traffic you really need something more. Again I never found wing mirrors all that good - too much vibration and too far away, so a decent 'clip on' to the 1/4light upright might be an option. Door mirrors best spot is right where you can't open the quarterlight . Just some thoughts. Cheers. G.

Hi,

I am looking to fit a set of wing mirrors to my fastback and I am wondering exactly where to drill the holes...

Is there anyone who can help/give me some rough measurements off their fastback?

Thanks in advance,
