Mot passed & taxed this afternoon

It was running a bit flat because the points had closed up
Still a few jobs to do but well happy it's finally on the road.

Had a very short road test this afternoon just up the road and back
Felt good but a bit flat power wise needs a rolling road tune to get the best out
Of it
Was surprised how light the steering is (still haven't got the new track rod ends on
Yet
The limited slip diff works well
Very pleased with today's progress :)

thanks I need some of that lol

the propshaft still hasn't arrived, apparently its gone on its bank holiday jollies around all the parcel depots in the Birmingham area, so much for a before 12 delivery saturday !

made good progress this weekend clutch & gearbox in
rear axle & shocker mounts welded on
H120 badge fitted to front grille
spent nearly an hour sorting out the interior light I think I spent half an hour unconscious after banging my head on the roll cage for the umpteenth time !

lsd/diff fitted back into axle
refurbished fuel tank refitted & system checked for leaks (so far so good)
clutch fitted to engine, non o/d box going in on Saturday at work
and whilst its on the ramp the axle and shocker mounts welded on

hybrid propshaft should arrive back today lets hope I measured it twice !!

leaving the wiring jobs for a workmate to sort as eveytime I mess with electrics the smoke escapes from it.

thought I might get away with it but......the fuel tank is going to have to come out for cleaning inside as the new fuel has turned brown !

not doing it myself but going to entrust it to a specialist
looks like i will be pushing it onto the trailer for rapier '13
