I did consider green but thought the silver would break the car up nicely.

I didn't realise you got a choice of colour, I thought they were colour coordinated at the factory. That probably explains why standard Rapiers started appearing with H120 stripes later on if the dealers were applying them before the car was delivered to the customer.

I was toying with the idea of H120 stripes for my project car but decided to go for 'hockey sticks'. Not that I'll be applying them any time soon at this rate.... but thought that the sticks would give the car a more mid '70's look.

Early H120's had either black or white but all sorts of colours were available later on in the production run. Mine is black but I'm really tempted by lime green

Ahh, I have stuck the badge inserts in now so that may pose a problem for the grille badge
The stripe is metallic silver, looks good close up.

Stripes looking good Andy, are they dark grey?

My H120 badges are stuck on, like you we didn't want to drill holes. As an alternative to sealant, I used some double sided tape. It is actually sold by our local aquatic centre to use for repairing rips in pond liners but it works a treat and has lasted years. The grille badge should have a central threaded rod in addition to the 2 pins which you secure with a little clamp.

Looks the part. Those Cosmic's or Cosmic style wheels suit it well; esp with it being in that colour. Great work! G.

Dogs Dangleys Andy! I think it looks better without the fiddley chrome trims around the rear quarter light windows.
