I don't believe it is as I had a tough time tonight getting on.... tried 4 maybe 5 times over a period of an hour before connecting with the forum. The website seems ok though.

Yup occasionally - right from the start.
Sometimes error 500, sometimes a database error, sometimes a report of out of resources (I think).
Often it looks like the web server is just busy - I leave an hour and it usually works.
I assume someone somewhere does something to fix it
