After wanting a Rapier since the age of 16, I bought one several years ago, supposedly rebuilt. I brought it home and very close examination showed it was a complete codge job, so sold it at a loss. My present Rapier bought from a chap in Bristol and driven home. Seemed all good, but me being a hypochondriac have slowly overhauled the whole vehicle, while it was in use, over several years. Engine out and stripped, new camshaft etc. Repaired radiator professionally, new disc brake calipers, new expensive carburetter and manifold, and many more improvements. Unfortunately as I'm just reaching 71 years old and several old age health issues, it has to go. Hopefully to an enthusiast who knows the cars and will appreciate it. It attended all local steam fairs, carnivals and fetes over the period I've owned it. Unfortunately this Kung Flu stopped all that. In fact I don't know how to invite inspections etc while complying with social distancing etc. Incidentally I'm in Redditch Worcestershire.
