Hi I have got my new project in the garage drying out now a 1968 Fastback Rapier. I had to remove all of the carpets as they were sodden but found a load of insulation which looks like sheets roofing felt - any ideas what it is? it is also behind the dash and in the engine compartment - just checking it is not anything dangerous like asbestos? thanks Richard

Hi,

Mine's missing the bulkhead pad. Where would I get some replacement?

Thanks

Mike

Crumbly old insulation, lovely!

I don't know what it's made of but can be replaced by modern equivalent sound deadening material.

The stuff in the engine bay is left off by most people, assuming you mean on the bulkhead?
