Hi Everyone
I need to remove the main glass to enable me to manoeuvre out the 1/4 light unit. I cannot remember how to free the main glass from its fittings. Please can anyone help?

Hi everyone.. I had to chuckle when I saw 160 odd views and not a single response.

We've had the seals since Glenn delivered them a couple of years ago..but only now got round to the fitting procees.

Presumably none of you have tackled my problem apart from the guy who cut his to make them fit.

Fortunately, some folk on the Rootes FB page did offer good advice. We took the whole door apart. In doing so, found some items (hidden by the door panel)were a bit rusty etc with age, so dealt with that.

Took out the window glass and were then able to remove quarterlight. Then we could fit a new rubber to the quarterlight (without cutting). A perfect fit.

Took time but well worth the effort.
