Hello, the names Pete, been a fan of Rootes cars since before I started driving in '74, 1st car was as you see in the photo's (if it uploads) a '64 MkV bought in '73 when I was 16 for the massive sum of 90 quid as a non runner but took me and dad about 4 days to get it through the MOT. Next job was to swap the diff as it whined like anything when you got to about 50, found one on a Singer Gazelle in a breakers. Was rusty as hell in the sills, so bad that after about 18 months the doors were catching against the body at the top where it was sagging in the middle ! Didn't have the tech or know how to deal with it then so that spelled the end for it :( I had the Rapier, 2 Minx's, and a Sceptre Mk2 to play with at the time which really got up the nosey neighbours nose :).

Pete

Yep welcome to the Forum & have another go at those pics. They need to be quite small - below 1mb. Cheers. G

Cant see the pictures but welcome to the world of rapier.

Are you planning on getting another car?

Sometimes I think laterally, but then I have to get up!
