What is the maximum cylinder over bore size on a Rootes 1725 engine. Asking for a friend. His engine is standard bore but damage because of seized pistons and estimates a .040" re-bore is required. Thanks

Rootes Parts Service in the Netherlands is able to deliver pistons up to .050 inch overbore, so .040 inch shouldn't be a problem at all.

Peter
