I recently purchased replacement rubber exterior door seal - waist, but I now find it is not the correct size. As you are UK based, any suggestions as to where I should look would be greatly appreciated. Alpine-West were very helpful but their FBRU5 is not correct for my 1972 model.
In anticipation

Hi,
Sorry, not been on for some while.
I have one kit available that I found whilst sorting out.
Youcan e-mail rapier.spares@sunbeamrapier.co.uk
Sorry for delay; just lots going on - currently up for the SRE Moffat Show. Looks like it will be a good one as weather is set fair. Cheers. G

Hi bigt80, just wondering if any progress on rubber window seal kits for my Rapier?

Hi bigt80, I am happy to wait for a kit, just keep me posted, thanks.

Ah, yes, OK; we did have kits - that do all 4 windows - including clips, but have run out. I will look to do a re-order, but things a bit hectic currently - if you can hang on a few weeks I will keep you posted. G

Hi bigt80, This is the rubber weather strip along the top of the door that seals the window, shedding water overboard and abuts the chrome trim (actually lies over the edge of the trim). The one on the car appears to be vulcanised to a metal backing and is quite thin as a result.

Is this the glazing one or the one around the door itself?
