Posted - 03 Feb 2014 : 19:38:06 Admin folks, is it possible to change the way we post url links in posts. On other forums I use there is an option to insert a link as below;
[url=LINK]TAG[/url]
Where the LINK is the url and the TAG is the word that appears in the post. I guess you know what I mean but this is a neater way of posting links and keeps lengthy url's off the post.

Posted - 17 Feb 2014 : 15:40:41 I've been tinkering with the code and you can now use the [URL] tags with or without the quotes around the link.

Posted - 07 Feb 2014 : 10:36:09 The formatting script is different for most every forum I use but I find 'cut 'n paste' works in all of them. Sometimes you can't beat the simplest ways of posting.

Posted - 07 Feb 2014 : 10:00:35 Sunbeam Rapier Forum Despite having the appropriate button in the format line this command should work properly, as most users are conditioned with the way JPSH120 has campaigned for. I am a member in more than one forum where clicking on the URL or the image buttons a popup appears and the www-address is then put in and brought in correct format into the posting.
