Posted - 05 Sep 2012 : 23:40:16 My recently aquired Sunbeam rapier 1964. The Mot had run out and the engine had a fuel pump problem prior to me purchasing it. i sorted out the fuel pump problem and took it for its Mot,here it is going through its test. It passed with flying colours and no advisories. Last week i resprayed the roof as the original paint was wearing thin. The rear bumper is away at the chromers having a new shine given to it. Classic Mike.

I recognise the reg no having seen it for sale in the Essex area last Oct/Nov and then again earlier this year by someone else. I was very tempted myself, but the distance from Glasgow made it prohibitive. Looks like you have purchased a really excellent Rapier in the best colour scheme too. I purchased a S.4 in green in Edinburgh and like you am very pleased with it too.
  Best of luck pal.
