As the damper on the engine mounting of my H120 must be over 50 years old I was hoping to have it serviced or replace it. Does any one know if it is a sealed unit ( and hence not servicable), or where a replacement can be found please?

Don't hold out much hope. I ordered one and it was more 'strut' than 'damper'.

Good luck though.

Many thanks for the response. There are some 'engine torque dampers' on ebay, but they all seem a little too long. I've taken a gamble and ordered a '6"' damper from Hong Kong. Might be rubbish, but I have to try something.

I don't know if it's a serviceable item and not even sure where you could find a new one now speedy spares are gone.
Maybe try some of the general classic car spares companies.
