The club stand has again been confirmed for 2011.

Dates are currently set for 30th April - 1st May but may move to 16th - 17th April to coincide with 'Drive it Day'.

I will be looking for at least 1, maybe 2 cars for the stand so please put your names forward if you would like to be considered.

Clubs are been encouraged to organize runs to the show which together with steeply discounted tickets and passes to park in the on site classic car park means that club members are able to park up together.

Advance tickets are on sale now at a special club only reduced rate, a saving of £5.00 per ticket, so please take advantage of this for club members and friends who want to visit. Just go to www.bccsl.co.uk and follow the links to buy tickets using code Club32

The show organisers are also requesting clubs choose a theme for their stand, so if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them.

Looking forward to bringing the Alpine to the Bristol classic show next weekend.
Brought her out of the garage for the first time since October last year only to find the clutch plate was stuck
However a little bump start in gear and it freed, took her out for drive and so far no other problems (fingers crossed)
See ya all soon.

OK guys, the show is only 2 weeks away and due to unforseen circumstances I have lost 1 of the cars planned to be on our stand.

So if anyone fancies having their car on the club stand for the weekend please let me know and I can give you more details etc.

My e-mail is - sroclaosouth@btinternet.com

Thanks,

Jason.

Yeap im well up for that and have put it in the diary - infact my Miss's has so thats a defo then.

Let me know what i have to do/ pay etc and if i can be any help

cheers

ps looks like its a good date to have yours done by - give it a shot. I had a show booked for last June, it was my first out with the Beam and after my engine died in April and the MOT was due that month too, i had very long days and nights spent on the car. I found it hard to make a good car great, but wow its worth it!!!

JPSH120 Posted - 24 Nov 2010 : 12:57:56
As per my original post, the dates have been changed to 16th & 17th April.

Martin you are most welcome to put your car on the stand, but be aware that it is similar to the NEC in as much as the car has to stay put from Friday PM to Sunday PM.

All being well, ie mine is ready, yours will be the 3rd and final car, so anyone else would have to visit over the weekend and park in the 'classics car park' outside.
