If my car has a crack or obstruction on the windscreen larger than a 10p piece, it fails the MOT. So why is it acceptible to have A posts and posts each side of the windscreen so big that they can hide a car 15metres away or pedestrian/cyclist even closer. My car is a Kia, and my campervan is a Fiat Ducato base. Both vehicles are dangerous as a result of extremely thick "windscreen posts" At least my series V Rapier doesn't have this problem as most older cars have better view of the outside world.
