Evening.

I have just bee sent this link. Really interesting to see a short video of the rootes production line.

Mainly hunters (I think) but sure I spotted a fastback too.

Ahhh...... Memories.

No I'm not that old but I did some time at Ryton and as such the plant did not alter that much.

The film was mainly of the post welding/assembly section.

Known appropriately as BIW (Body in White) due to the dip in primer.

Not certain about the Fastback (Feb 67 seems a little too early), Could have been a Humber Sceptre though.

Sometimes I think laterally, but then I have to get up!

Thanks for that. Very interesting.

It's also startling to see the lack health and safety equipment in the spraying area!
